How a Horse Constellation Works
Horse Constellations combine Family Constellation work with the spontaneous participation of horses. You begin with a personal issue, question, relationship, or situation you would like to explore. Representatives are then chosen to stand for people or other elements connected with the issue, and the constellation develops from what emerges.
The horses are present throughout the process and are free to participate or not. They are never assigned roles or directed to behave in a particular way. A horse may approach a representative, stand beside someone, move between people, withdraw, or draw attention to a particular part of the constellation. Their responses can make relationships and dynamics visible in a remarkably direct way.
Each person who books a Horse Constellation receives their own individual constellation. Everyone attending also participates as a representative in other people’s work, so the day is both a personal experience and a shared process. No previous experience with horses or Family Constellations is necessary, and all work with the horses takes place on the ground.
The weekend can be attended on Saturday, Sunday, or both days. There are four Horse Constellation places available each day.
Time: 10 am – 4 pm each day
1-hour lunch break (please bring your own lunch)
There are four spots on each day for a Horse Constellation.
The price for a Constellation is $350 per day, and attending as a representative is $100
Participants are welcome to attend on Saturday, Sunday, or both days, and may receive a Constellation on each day if desired.
There are plenty of local Airbnbs and accommodations-search for places in Ranchita, Borrego Springs, Warner Springs, or Julian.
